CCNA Certification Training Course
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching is a certification program for entry-level network engineers. The CCNA certification program gave me the confidence to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain an organization’s network. With this program, I began a career in IT network installation and configuration. The program provides the enabling skills necessary for this role. I learned to build and maintain IT networks.
The topic covered are:
What is a network?
Network models
How data flows from one computer to another
Network addressing
Ethernet LANs
How ethernet networks operate
Early Ethernet network devices, including hubs and bridges
Today’s Ethernet network devices, including switches and Virtual LANs (VLANs)
Routing basics
Layer 2 and 3 addressing
Interconnecting different broadcast domains using routers
Address resolution
How data is sent from one broadcast domain or network to another
IP Addressing
Internet Protocol (IP)
IP addressing
Network masks
Working with binary numbers
Subnetting
Routing data through a network using longest match routing
WAN technologies
Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP)
Frame Relay
Asynchronous Transfer Mode(ATM)
Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)
Transport Layer Protocols
User Datagram Protocol (UDP)
Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)
Training focuses on skill development through personal instruction and extensive hands-on labs. The labs are provided through the virtual environment. I also accessed high-quality online learning, including interactive videos and audiovisuals.
• Learning goals and course success were best achieved by planning to attend lectures and completing all labs and assessment assignments.
• I was able to remotely access learning resources and the lab environment, allowing course completion online.
