Juniper Networks Mpls & VPN's Training Course
Juniper Networks MPLS & VPN’s training course focuses on Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) and Virtual Private Networks (VPN) technologies used in telecommunications networks.
We start with an introduction to MPLS and its applications, including packet labeling and MPLS tunneling. Next, we focus on VPN implementation, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
Topics covered in the course include MPLS architecture, label and tunnel configuration, label distribution, VPN management, routing configuration, and Quality of Service (QoS) implementation in MPLS.
Upon completion of the course, I gained knowledge with MPLS and VPN technologies and was able to apply knowledge to design, configure, and maintain telecommunication networks using these technologies.
This subject provided me with MPLS-based virtual private network (VPN) knowledge and configuration examples. The course includes an overview of MPLS concepts such as control and forwarding plane, RSVP Traffic Engineering, LDP, Layer 3 VPNs, next-generation multicast virtual private networks (MVPNs), BGP Layer 2 VPNs, LDP Layer 2 Circuits, and virtual private LAN service (VPLS). This subject also covers Junos operating system-specific implementations of Layer 2 control instances and active interface for VPLS.
Topics include:
Label Distribution Protocols
MPLS Fundamentals
Constrained Shortest Path First
Traffic Protection and Optimization
Miscellaneous MPLS Features
VPN Review
Layer 3 VPNs
Basic Layer 3VPN Configuration
Troubleshooting Layer 3 VPNs
Layer 3 VPNs–Advanced Topics
